What it is

Ask Annabel is a chat tutor for the Mayfair Casino School. Tap the gold button at the bottom of any page on the site and ask a question. The answer is generated in my voice and grounded in the 41 lesson scripts that make up the course.

It's built on Cloudflare Workers AI. The system retrieves the lessons most relevant to your question and uses them as the source of truth. If the answer isn't in the lessons, the tutor will tell you what's settled in casino mathematics generally and what isn't, rather than inventing.

What it's good at

House edges across the standard games. European roulette versus American. Banker bet at baccarat. Blackjack with this rule or that.

Casino rules and procedure. Surrender, doubling down, splitting, when the dealer hits soft 17.

London venues and what to expect there. Dress codes, table limits, which floors run French versus American roulette.

Regulation. The Gaming Act 1968, the Gambling Act 2005, the Ivey Supreme Court ruling, what the UKGC will and won't allow.

The maths behind the lessons. Variance, Kelly fractions, expected value over a session.

What it won't do

Tell you a system that wins. None do. I'll explain why if you ask, and so will the tutor.

Recommend a specific operator inside a chat reply. The affiliate side of the site is one click away in the navigation; the chat is editorial.

Answer anything off-topic. Sports, code, personal advice, politics, other websites. Not its remit.

Pretend to be a human. Replies are AI-generated, even though they're in my voice and trained on my words. It says so under every conversation.

How to ask a good question

Be specific. 'What's the edge on European roulette?' is a clean question. 'How do casinos work?' is too broad. Name a venue or a rule variant if you can, and you'll get a sharper answer.

You can ask a follow-up. The tutor keeps the last few turns in context. So 'and on American?' or 'what about with La Partage?' will land.

How it works

The tutor reads your question, picks the four most relevant lessons from the School, and passes those lesson scripts to Llama 3.3 (Cloudflare Workers AI) along with a system prompt that enforces my voice rules and the School's editorial standards. The reply quotes back to the lessons it used.

Your messages aren't saved to a database. The conversation lives in your browser only. Close the tab and it's gone.

Limits and disclaimers

The tutor is a useful first read. It isn't a substitute for the lessons themselves. The lessons carry primary-source citations; the tutor's answers are best treated as a starting point. If something matters, check it against the lesson it cites.
